Black Friday Shopping

[ 0 ] November 23, 2011 |

Be prepared and organized when you embark on your shopping journey. Walmart’s Black Friday deals start at 10pm. Target has a pre-Black Friday sale that ends today. Target opens at midnight on Thanksgiving evening. Most stores are opening at midnight instead of 4 or 5 am.  Be sure to take your smart phone with you. You can download apps and coupons on the spot. Compare prices on pricegrabber.com, pricespider.com, red laser, shop savvy and google shopper.  Be sure to check your email for sale notifications. Don’t forget to support your local small business retailers.

Don’t forget Cyber Shopping. You can shop in your pj’s. Before you check out don’t forgot to google for discounts and free shipping. There are apps for that too! Try freeshipping.org. Check out BlackFriday.info, BlackFriday.net, TheBlackFriday.com,  Fatwallet.com, and Gottadeal.com. You can hit up Decide.com and compare best quality and prices, especially for electronics and TV’s. Do you really need a 1080p when your cable company only broadcast a 720p signal? But if the 1080p costs less than the 720p, go for the 1080p.   Be sure to like your favorite retailers on facebook and check your email for coupons. If you have ever ordered out of a catalog or on-line before then your email will alert you of all the sales and coupon. Here are some of the deals we found:

VictoriasSecret.com has a free pair of slippers when you buy the pajamas, and free shipping.

Frontgate.com gives you $100. for every $100. you spend

Chicos.com has 35% off full priced merchandise and 50% off all already reduced merchandise

Jjill.com has 25% off and free shipping.

Khols.com is offering Black Friday deals on line on Thanksgiving day.

Save some money for Cyber Monday. You might find better deals. Log onto DealsCyberMonday.org, Cyber.Mondaydeals.net, and CyberMonday2011.com.

For great gift ideas, look for gifts that are in sets of 2 or more. Or buy 1 get 1 free or half off. You can save lots of money by splitting up the gifts. Gift cards aren’t always the best way to go. You may be able to find a really useful gift for 10 bucks but when you give someone a $10 gift card, you look like a cheapskate. Whatever you do, just make sure you use the net as your source for deals and coupons before you hit the stores.

Happy Shopping and Happy Thanksgiving!
